We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Account Information: Name, email address, password, and account type when you register.
• Profile & Phone: Phone number (for notifications and account recovery), country, profile photo.
• Business Data: Business names, descriptions, financial figures, strategic analyses (SWOT, PESTEL, plans), and Company Profiles you create.
• User Content: Cases, projects, meetings, budgets, shopping lists, education materials, and notes you submit.
• Voice Recordings: When you use voice-to-text dictation, your audio is sent to OpenAI Whisper for transcription. Audio is not stored on our servers; only the transcribed text is saved.
• Device & Usage Data: Device type, OS version, app version, IP address (used for region-based news language detection), interaction patterns.
• Approximate Location (IP-based): Used to auto-detect your country and serve localized news. We do NOT collect precise GPS location.
• Push Notification Tokens: If you enable notifications, we store the device token to deliver alerts.
• Photos / Media (mobile): Only when you actively pick or capture photos for the Company Profile gallery — these stay on your device unless you upload them.
• Communication Data: Messages you send through our contact form or support channels.

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve our services
• Generate Ai-powered solutions to your problems
• Process transactions and send related information
• Send technical notices, updates, and support messages
• Respond to your comments, questions, and requests
• Monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information to third parties. We may share your information only in the following circumstances:

• With Ai Service Providers: Your prompts and content (including business descriptions and voice transcripts) are sent to Ai providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google) to generate responses. Each provider has its own privacy policy and we use them via their API only — no model training on your data.
• With Payment Processors: Subscription billing is handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full credit card number.
• With Email Providers: Transactional emails (welcome, trial reminders, password reset) are sent via SendGrid.
• With Push Notification Services: Alerts are delivered via Apple Push Notification Service (APNs) and Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM).
• For Legal Compliance: When required by law, court order, or to protect our rights and safety.
• With Your Consent: When you explicitly authorize us to share your information, e.g., when generating a public Company Profile share link.
• Embedded Content: If you choose to make a Company Profile or solution public, that content will be visible to anyone with the link.

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information, including:

• Encryption of data in transit and at rest
• Secure password hashing
• Two-factor authentication options
• Regular security assessments

You have the right to:

• Access and receive a copy of your personal data
• Correct inaccurate personal data
• Request deletion of your personal data
• Object to processing of your personal data
• Withdraw consent at any time

How to delete your account: Open the Sigma Ai app or website, go to Profile → Settings → Account → Delete Account, or email us at info@sigma-ai.ai with the subject “Delete my account”. We will erase all your personal data, businesses, cases, projects, and analyses within 30 days. Anonymous aggregate data (used for service-quality analytics) may be retained.

Sigma Ai is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at info@sigma-ai.ai and we will promptly delete the data.

We retain your personal data only as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. Specifically:

• Account & profile data: until you delete your account
• Subscription & billing records: 7 years (legal/tax requirement)
• Voice audio: never stored (transcribed and discarded immediately)
• News interaction history: rolling 90-day window
• Push notification tokens: until you disable notifications or uninstall the app
